TB-Tray works (TB is activ and hidden). But Why doesn't
it download new messages from the Mail-Server? When TB
is not hidden, TB downloads them every 15 min. (my
config). But not, when it is in the Tray.

Everything is working for me fine. TB ir checking mail as it is set in the account properties -> server, it does not depend on the tb-tray state.
I want to ask for additional functionality - is it possible to add menu-item for the tb-tray: "force mail check", sometimes it is needed to manually check mail (If one is faiting for some important email, but default automatic checking interval is long). Opening TB for that reason is not a great idea.

Mine works the same as the original poster - nothing downloads until I manually open TB, and then it immediately downloads.
