I've run into this many times and never figured it out. For some reason SWFAddress won't update the url bar on localhost in any browser. I have allowScriptAccess to always, and I've included the HTML file in my local-trusted settings. No Flash Player errors are thrown, and it successfully reads the url when the SWF loads. It simply doesn't update the url. It works online, though.
Often times this will happen in the middle of project - so it will work up until a certain point, then suddenly start displaying the behavior described.
Any ideas?
