#52 Incorrect handling of multiple ALSA devices
Bug report from vze26m98 on sweep-users:
My next problem is that I have 2 sound devices (which
work OK with Pure Data for example). I can go to the
'Configure audio device...' selection under the
Playback menu and see my 2 devices. If I select the
second device, plughw:1,0, I can answer yes and leave
the dialog, but the "next playback" still has sound
playing from the plughw:0,0 device. If I go back to the
dialog, the zeroth device shows up as what is selected.
So my interaction doesn't look like it's taking.

this may not be a software bug.
i had the same problem and fixed it by deleting
preferences.tdb (local fs corruption?)
i can now use the monitor option and toggling the monitor button
swaps between the two cards.
i just emailed vze26m98 so we'll find out soon hopefully
