This is a regression after I did some clean-up in the LanguageMenu I think, since version 1.1.5.

Reproduction:
- suppose current locale is English
- open Language dialog, select Latvian (example), the application switches to Latvian, Ok
- open the Language menu, you can see that the selected language is not Latvian but English
