stellarium 0.10.6, Mac OSX 10.6.8... not 100% sure if this is a bug (but I
reported it)... if I want to search a network drive for a landscape zip file
in the "add / remove landscapes" dialog using the "install a new landscape
from the ZIP archive..." button, the appropriate finder window pops up for
less then a second, then closes immediately without any interaction from my
side.
I can not choose any server or folder or whatsoever.
this happens on both my macbook pro and my iMac, both machines about 1 year
old using OSX 10.6.8. (last update before lion).
please let me know if this is a bug or if I am doing something wrong. right
now I am wondering if I should somehow move the zip files manually somewhere,
and if so how, as on OSX stellarium does not show any program directory, just
it's icon.
other than that a beautiful software! perfect companion to redshift on iphone
(look and feel a bit similar) and much much better than equinox on OSX.
cheers

solution found:
1) go to program folder. right klick stellarium program symbol
2) choose "show package"
3) unzip landscape.zip
4) copy unzipped landscape folder into "resources" / "landscapes"
5) open stellarium, choose the landscape you just copied in 4) fro dialog
landscapes...
cheers
