  Bug in the program I'm afraid. This happens on some systems. What's your system configuration?

  There is not this bug whith stellarium 7 . It's only with stellarium 8. I'm working with windows xp.

  Does anyone have a copy of version 7. Version 8 works on my systems, but not on my parents. I did find a copy of version 5.

    Click on the package name for your OS (e.g. Stellarium-win32 if you use windows)
    
    Select the version you want by clicking on the version number link (e.g. 0.7.1)
    
    Select the file to download (e.g. left click on stellaium-0.7.1.exe)
