A new source and binary release of SteakIM have been released, version 0.0.1.2. Despite the low version numbers, SteakIM is VERY usable and feature rich. It also seems pretty stable to me. Don't let the low numbers fool you, it could easily be a .8 or .9. Anyways, enjoy this new release, which features new things, fixed bugs, and other stuff. Unfortunately, I don't write it down as I add it, so I can't tell you what.

A user has asked about porting SteakIM to FreeDOS. If any of you out there would like to volunteer for this, or even if you have any information about porting Visual Basic applications to FreeDOS, let me know. I think it would be pretty cool to be the only AIM client on FreeDOS, I just have no idea how to go about it.

The first release of SteakIM is out. This version is extremely feature rich. SteakIM 0.0.2 should be out within a few weeks, featuring a Greet command, improved Chat support, and a number of bug-fixes.
