Hi Salman,
Now as fall is setting in, Seattle will receive more than enough of it's 6 months of rain (October to April). I left off somewhere refactoring pppd out of sstpc which will make EAP possible. I hope to be able to resume this work pretty soon.
I, too, would encourage adding EAP support. My university has a department that has a VPN for students to access off-campus. It uses EAP-MSCHAPv2 for the connection. Since students are to use Kali Linux (Penetration Testing class), we need this functionality.
Thank you for donating your time for coding this package!

Any chance this EAP support make it in the upstream version of pppd. Mac OS-X support may be come later if Apple adopts it, but they've made their own modifications and may be less inclined to take this patch.

I also need EAP support in order to do EAP-MSCHAPv2 authentication. Would love to see this feature asap.

We created an EAP-MSCHAPv2 patch for pppd-2.4.7 which did the trick for us. Please see https://w3logistics.com/blog/archives/438-EAP-MSCHAPv2-for-pppd-2-4-7.html for the download link.
