SSL-Explorer 0.2.0 - Community Edition released!

SSL-Explorer is the world's first open-source, browser based SSL VPN solution. This unique remote access security solution provides users and businesses alike with a means of securely accessing network resources from outside the network perimeter using only a standard web browser.

This is by far the largest release in the history of SSL-Explorer, introducing a whole range of new software features and enhancements including a fully policy-based permissions framework and a much simplified installation process along with upgrades to network places that now provide access to local, Windows shares and FTP filesystems. Usability enhancements include a redesigned and improved GUI that provides a separation of the management and user interfaces. A number of common workflows within the software have also now been incorporated into easy-to-use wizard-style interfaces to simplify administration. Web forwarding support has been considerably improved with this release and now includes FORM-based authentication. Lastly, the projects documentation has been totally rewritten for this rebranded Community Edition of SSL-Explorer.
