I've noticed a couple of bug fixes going into 1.4.9 in the last two
threads. Is this release going to be in the near future or should I just
update using the CVS version now?
The session problem is the one that concerns me most although admittedly
our <100 simultaneous users probably won't have the same level of incidents.

A release date is not yet set for 1.4.9. That said, there's nothing
wrong with checking a copy out of *stable* cvs. Instructions are
available at http://www.squirrelmail.org/download.php
In fact, if you're comfortable using CVS, it can be even better than
using a tarball (IMHO, anyway).
