Squashfs is a read-only filesystem. If you edit a file then the only way you can put the edited file back into the Squashfs filesystem is to re-generate it with Mksquashfs...

There is any application for windows user to modifiy the images squashed?
Can i suggest to create an GUI for all the system for editing images? I suppose a better evolution for your FS!!!
Hi Phillip,
Tks for your advice.
I read the HOWTO before but can't figure out;
# mksquashfs source1 source2 ... destination [options]
What will be source1, soucrce2, destination, etc.
E.G.
Existing squash file - XYZ.sqfs
Before compressing, there are following directories;
AAA BBB CCC DDD etc.
After adding some files to AAA and CCC respectively, say, the new directories becomes
AAA1 CCC1
Then what will be the command line?
TIA
