#11 Error: connection failed ()

Hi,

I've been trying to use snoopy to build a link checking
script for our database of 3000+ links. The script cycles
through the links and does a snoopy->fetch on each
one. I then read the snoopy->response code to get the
status of the link.

The problem I am having is that, after about 50 or so
links, the majority of connections seem to fail giving the
response Error: Connection failed (146) or Error:
Connection failed (0).

Can anyone give me a clue as to what is going on? I
have tried inserting a pause between checking links, but
it doesn't seem to make any difference.
