smplayer v.14.9.0 keeps repeating same video even if playlist empty and no setting requests this behavior. The previous versiom does not repeat video if not requested. It does not show version number, it might be 6.

Thanks for your fast reply. I had visitors and no "peace" to respond. I found and checked the setting A - B Repeat. Unfortunately there is no indication whether REPEAT is set or not. I clicked the CLEAR button. It made no difference. All videos repeat for ever. I also could not find the jump menu at the ends of the play bar. I found the settings for the preferred jump distance (seconds, minutes). 1 more thing: After installation player sat on screen, partly covered by task bar and the window could not be moved. This behavior should be separated from the video running position (time) when Last Position (or whatever terms used) is activated. To make it an installation default ... I don't see why. I believe to remember having installed Version 14 about 2 years ago on a different computer, Win7. It did not work then. As I don't expect a quick correction of V.14 I intend to reinstall V.6 which I still have on a hard disk. Also it has larger text on the continuously visible parts, so I won't need a telescope.
