OK, poking around, after going through some dead ends, I think I see light
at the end of the tunnel -
I have a section "articles" which most of the submissions have been
assigned to, but the main page is the "index" section referenced through
- I have a articles_more block, and if I go to the url
[site]/index.pl?section=articles, I see the older stuff block.
This makes me think I need to reassign the stories to the index section....
- but as I mentioned before (see below) I had messed with the sections,
deleting some default ones that were not needed. I wonder now if I deleted
too much, perhaps an "index" section, because there is not one there now.
I kinda think I wouldn't have deleted something called "index" (but who
knows?) - can someone let me know if the default db has an "index" entry
in the sections table? If so, what are the rest of the values?
If it is not necessary, then how do I reconcile the difference between
articles and the index section? IOW, when the admin assigns a section to a
submission, and there is no "index" choice, then "articles" seems like the
next best default choice... but those don't show up in the index_more
