#172 View a random sampling of posts

BACKGROUND:

I metamoderate everyday. My motivation to
metamoderate daily is that I get to view 10 random (sort-
of random, anyway) user posts. Metamoderating almost
always causes me to go read a story I had previously
passed over, or to pursue Google in search of more
information on some subject mentioned by a poster.

FEATURE REQUEST:

The feature I envision would be the ability to invoke the
metamoderation sampling engine and view a bunch
of "random" posts. No moderation links would appear.

At first blush it seems to me that the best way to
implement the feature is to overload the metamoderation
button. At present, once you've metamoderated the
moderation button disappears. Instead, why not have it
change into a "View Random Posts" button.

Well, we could do this. I don't see a need to link it to
metamod, it'd be easy enough to pick random comments
recently posted.

Rob, if you have any desire to see this feature, assign it
to someone (possibly me :) with an appropriate priority...
