On one of my Slashdot.net accounts (Flashman) I have had "Daily Newsletter" messages set to E-mail for a couple of years. Every so often the messages would not appear and I would assume it was just the internet. Over the past year the problem has gotten much worse and continued to get worse. Now I receive these less than once a week. As an experiment I set "Daily Headlines" to E-mail and I receive them fine. On my other account (GradeA Flashman) I decided to turn on "Daily Newsletters" and they come to my work email where we have gruesome firewalls and filtering. I have tried toggling the "Daily Newsletter" settings on the Flashman account several times without effect.

Since I am receiving the Headlines every single day, and occasionally even receive Daily Newsletter, I do not believe the problem is on my end of the path. This is still a problem.

I am having the same issue. I changed my default e-mail address in an attempt to receive the newsletter, but no dice. Site contact/support seems to be nil, unfortunately.

Can I suggest the hypothesis that there is at least one, and probably more than one email queue (client) starting up at around 10:00PM Mountain time, that due to system loading does not complete. I imagine the scheme is to start multiple email clients which breakup the long list of email addresses into sub-lists. It appears the email client containing my email address frequently fails to complete, which suggests that there should be more sub-lists or a more powerful server devoted to getting the email out.
