My company just switched to used federated logins with Office 365 (and Lync) and now my account cannot login. I get an error:
Web ticket request to https://webpoolbn11a02.infra.lync.com:443/CertProv/CertProvisioningService.svc failed (The entered and stored passwords do not match.)
Just for added information, I am running Adium 1.5.8 and SIPE 1.20.1
The real error happens before that, i.e. the initial ADFS attempt fails, causing SIPE to fall back for MFA accounts, which obviously fails for you.
Probable ideas:
I'm leaning toward closing this bug.
