Brotou na minha frente ;-) uma bridge das ovislink modelo WL-5460AP. Achei interessante, principalmente que este modelo he 54Mbits. Fazando uma verificao no firmware achei um log e rodando o log obtive o seguinte retorno que esta abaixo. Mesmo assim estou meio com medo de atulizar o firmware, principalmente que at agora nao achei nada sobre se isto vai dar certo ou nao. Alguem sabe de alguma coisa?

Olha, de acordo com essa mensagem (velha) no forum do RTL8181, capaz de dar boot com o firmware do shortlinux, pois ele usa justamente o patch do RML citado. Mas ele no deu mais informaes, acho que morreu ':)
Acho que primeiro voc tem que ver se rola plugar o cabo MAX232 nele, e tentar upload do firmware oficial, pra descobrir o endereo de incio (na WL-1120AP 30000). Eu tentaria endereos altos tipo 50000 e iria baixando at no mximo 20000. Se tiver inspirado, tentaria no 10000.
Claro que tem a possibilidade de pifar e pronto :)
Mas se funcionar, pelo menos voc j sabe que consegue recuperar o firmware original em caso de problema. A comeam os testes. Tira o esquema de salvar no flash do shortlinux, gera uma imagem nova, tenta dar boot... se entrar pelo menos o console j meio caminho andado :P
Bom, isso s pra hacking-value mesmo. Com certeza o driver Wireless no vai funcionar, voc vai precisar dar uma olhada no hardware que ele tem e ver se o kernel suporta, se conseguir, fazer patches, testar, etc etc...
Moral da histria: Se a bridge t de bobeira e voc tem um cabo MAX232, manda ver, se no... deixa algum mais animado fazer isso ':D

A curiosidade grande. Vou montar o cabo MAX232 de acordo com o esquema que esta no site e vou fazer o teste. Se o boot for compativel e dependendo do hardware (amanha abro ela), vou continuar estes testes sim.

Alguem ja conseguiu fazer funcionar nas WL-5460AP, ou com outro software? Eh que nao consigo encontrar as AP1120 somente as 5460 e preciso algo bom p colocar nelas.
