#6 Resizing main window deforms the map

When you resize the window in the example UI the map
can lose it's aspect ratio if you do not resize properly
both with and height at the same ratio. Causes the map
to look squished or stretched.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Start the app
2) load a map
3) drap the window border horizontally or vertically only
and the map will lose it's aspect ratio.

Expected: The map would keep its aspect ratio and the
additional area would just be filled with the default
background color.
