Director & Debian? Yes, sure!

The Director is a system and network management software featuring centralized user/host management, application distribution and more. The latest revision supports application distribution via Debian's native package system and therefore adds the advantages of centralized management to the powerful Debian packaging system.

The application distribution functionality has always been supporting multiple underlying package systems like RPM, SUN package streams and the Director's own light-weight packages. The latest revision does not only add support for Debian .deb packages (dpkg) but can also take advantage of apt in order to resolve dependencies and install applications from repositories outside of the Director managed network.
