System = SuSE 9.2

Two tightly related:

(1)
The "README" file says to type "make XXX". There,
however, is no "Makefile". There is an "Imakefile"
for use with imake.

(2)
When you do use imake, you get an error message that
says there is an error: "makefile.c:35". Yes it
really does say ".c".

Earlier versions did make ok on SuSE 8.2 so this
appears to be an error introduced when the change to
imake was made.
