* External hardware that uses the /ROMCS line may behave in unexpected ways; support for mass storage devices such as the Interface I, +D, divIDE and divIDE+ is generally good enough to load and run software but you may experience data loss if you do no write-protect your disks and saving is not guaranteed to work - you have been warned

* Travel With Trashman and other software that checksums the ROM to verify that it is unchanged will not load; snapshot versions should work

* Roller Coaster uses part of the empty area in the original ROM as a sprite; the game is still playable but you may see some sprite corruption

* Auf Wiedreshen Monty and other software which modifies the default font may display some some font corruption

* Software which relies on known bugs, or non-present features (such as ZX Printer support) may behave unexpectedly or not work at all

* OpenSE Basic is not designed to be used as the BASIC ROM in conjunction with other ROMs from the 128K machines; it may function or you may experience data loss - if you do not use the other ROMs then there is no problem

* The ZX Printer is not supported directly; a software driver is required and it does not support 16K machines

* BASIC extensions and compilers are unlikely to work

* Using tape traps with TZX files in emulators may prevent software from loading. In most cases using edge loading will enable software to load, however in some cases the speed loading mechanism itself may fail to work with OpenSE BASIC's implementation of tape support. In this instance, you should use TAP files where available.
