While in the endgame of dott, after the long cutscene, when the old purple tentacle starts chasing you go to the lab, talk to the tentacles, stop talking to them (last option), leftclick on the stairs to leave but immediately after that rightclick on the tentacles to talk to them again. You will now be stuck in a dialog with the tentacles in another room.
No idea if Lucas bug or scummVM bug...

It would be great if you could attach a savegame and clarify which DOTT version you are using.

I uploaded a savegame in the lab room at the end of the game. It is from the German CD release. You will have to walk a bit nearer to the tentacles to try to reproduce this. Otherwise the room switch is done immediately.

I tried a few other places in the game (lab with Dr. Fred near the beginning of the game, Green in his room, talking to the Founding Fathers with Hoagie) and I couldn't reproduce a similar issue in those by trying to leave the scene and talking to someone after issuing a command to leave the scene.

It would be nice if someone could try this in the original interpreter to see whether this is an original game bug.

This happened on the English CD Talkie Version. Do you need more info on the game version? How do I find out?

Could be a game bug that slipped by the Lucas QA as it is so close to the end of the game and testers tested everything before this or it was added close to shipping date or so ;)

I was mostly wondering whether you had a floppy or CD version. So that should suffice. Thanks.

Can you still attach a savegame from your English CD version? Thanks.

I was able to reproduce it in DOSBox. I'm attaching a savegame for the English CD version.
