#744 Double-Click to Select Entire Variable

I've grown to really appreciate the ability to double-click a variable name while editing Perl and have it select the whole variable including the dollar sign ($). Could this be added to PHP as well? If some people prefer to not select the dollar sign in PHP, you could provide a boolean option in the PHP options file (html.properties).

You can change the set of word characters to be whatever you want.

Ah yes! Thank you! I can't believe I missed that. For anyone else with the same issue, the setting to look for in the html.properties (or any other language) is "word.characters.$(file.patterns.html)=$(chars.alpha)$(chars.numeric)_-$"
Just add the $ like above and you'll be all set.
