#1039 Select word

I really miss the select word feature...
Back in the old days, the Turbo Pascal editor had the feature Ctrl-T which selected the word under the cursor. Hit Ctrl-T and the word containing A-Za-z0-9_ is selected to left & right. (I don't mean Ctrl-T just the word select as a feature request)
It's really handy selecting variables under the cursor. The current features allow this with dblclick, but this means leaving the keyboard and touching the mouse.

I'll accept a good patch that implements a select word command suitable for assigning to a key.
