Maybe this is just a subject of point of view, but I
understand bookmarks as "pointing to some text at the
given line". However, when I delete a bookmarked line,
the bookmark persist - pointing to different line now.
IMHO bookmarks should be removed as well, when I
delete the marked line.

The original use case for markers in Scintilla was for
breakpoints and I generally don't want breakpoints and their
associated information to go away when the line disappears.
For SciTE, there are uses which point both ways: if I have a
set of edits to perform to fix a bug then I can mark all the
occurences then edit them and review the edits using those
marks.
An enhancement could add an option to decide between the two
behaviours but I won't be working on this in the near future.
