#49 Difficulty downloading .jar file

I was unable to download the .jar file using any
browser besides Internet Explorer. I tried Netscape
(on Windows and Linux), Mozilla, Galeon and
Konqueror. Each of these browsers attempted to
display the contents of the file in the main
window. Selecting "Save Link As" or its equivalent
resulted in downloading a copy of the HTML.

I was able to download xt.jar from James Clark's XT
home page (http://www.blnz.com/xt/index.html)
using the "Save Link As" feature of Netscape (on
Windows and Linux).

I'm not sure if this is a problem at the site, or at my
end. Any help either way would be appreciated.
