Sometimes when we put content to S3 we get the following error:
ERROR: S3 error: 500 (Internal Server Error): InternalError
However, upon inspection, the put file seems to be intact on S3. This happens very rarely but causes alarm and the need to manually inspect an otherwise automated process.
s3cmd version from Fedora 8 yum repo : s3cmd.noarch 0.9.8.1-3.fc8
Hi, I suggest you upgrade to s3cmd 0.9.8.4 which can work around this sort of errors.
The best way to do it in Fedora 8 is to download http://s3tools.logix.cz/repo/Fedora_8/s3tools.repo to /etc/yum.repos.d/ and run "yum upgrade s3cmd".
