when connecting via the general profile, it would be useful if there was a dropdown menu listing previous connections, so that one can simply pick any of these and easily reconnect.

This would make it easier to temporarily work with some servers that you may not want to store permanently for the moment being, something along the lines of maybe 3-5 servers (possibly configurable?) that were previously used via the general/customizable "connection wizard".

In addition, it would be EXTREMELY useful if there was a simple way for users to EASILY turn an active (temporary, non-profile) connection into a connection profile/config - for example via some sort of "save profile" menu entry, that would automatically save all connection info to a new profile, whose name can be provided/customized.
