Hi as the 9500 is much more powerful than other symbian devices, followed in a few weeks by the 9300, I was wondering whether you could develop a version of putty implementing port forwarding ?

Yes, please consider adding port forwarding to the 9500 version. I need it to access my home mail server, and I don't want to open pop3/imap/smtp to the whole outside world, not to mention the added security of these connections going through a crypted ssh connection.
Best Regards

I just downloaded putty_9200_1.3.1.sis and installed it in my 9500. Seems to be working fine.
How do you apply portforwarding? putty -L 8080:mycompanyproxy:8080 ??
Yeah, after more careful test: no port forwarding, but basic functionality ok for 9500.
I'm visiting the forum from my 9500 :-)

For the same reasons, it would also be very nice to have it on the 6630 / 6680 version.
