When I change in McAfee Personal Firewall Plus the
Permission from Full Access to Outbound Access Only
I get an error and RSS Bandit will not start.
When I set to Full Access, it works again.

Why should it need Full Access, Outbound Access
(only allowing connections initiated by RSS bandit)
should be sufficient.
I think this is a grave error.

No, this is caused by our single app instance
implementation. If Bandit is running, it opens a remoting
connection to a specific port (you can find the current
selected port within the registry
HKCU\Software\RssBandit\Settings,
key "InstanceActivatorPort") to disable multiple instances of
the application and forward any command-line parameters to
the running instance by help of this remote connection. This
behavior enables the IE explorer "Right-Click" context
menu "Subscribe in default aggregator" to work in any case
RssBandit is running or not.
So you can selectively open just that one port you found in
the registry and don't need the Full Access to be set.
