#2 Cannot make it work on Windows XP

Hi there and thanks by your work,

Here is my question:

I've downloaded latest binaries for Windows and I've not been
able to make it under Windows XP. I've installed it as Windows
Service, it is showed in the list of services but when I try to run
it from Control Panel/Administrative .../Services it gives me an
error 1067 saying "The process ends in unexpected way" (or
something similar, I've my Windows copy in Spanish so I've
translated the error message that in an English Windows should
be a bit different). In system log I've not found extended
information about the error, so... How could I track the problem?
