Welcome to the RodneySPR project.

When I was back in High School I purchased a copy of the TAB Book "How to build your own Self-Programming Robot" by David L. Heisermann. While I'd like to think I understood the theory, the construction was far beyond my means and skill.

Over thirty years on, the availability of powerful microcontrollers, boards such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi make it much more feasible. In the book, Heisermann wrote "...perhaps one day someone will manufacture processor boards for Rodney" While that's not strictly true, it seems there are quite suitable devices available now at very reasonable prices.
