A Threefer

Buy one, get two free! The RMC Toolkit v1.0.0 has been released. Though it's not much, it works, and it has all the bonuses mentioned in the last post. Also, the LMU parser has jumped to version 0.0.9, and it integrates into the toolkit. Finall, some documentation on RPG Maker's internal formats has been included.
The CVS server for this project has been discontinued, and Subversion is now the preferred method of access. Please update accordingly.

Helpful Hiatus

The Question: Where have I been?
The Answer: Taking a java user interface course. I hope to refactor the current code to be minimally workable, since the RMC Toolkit is really cramping up the other tools. Active code development will begin again quite soon.

CVS Entries added for both mini-projects.

Both the LMU Parser and the RMC Toolkit are now on CVS if you want to take a closer look at the code. Send a message if you're interested in developing for this project.

RMC Toolkit mini-update

The RMC toolkit is slowly getting there. Loading from/saving to XML is done (for the list of tools); tools cannot be added to the project window (and projects cannot be saved) just yet, and these are crucial to the 1.0.0 release.

RMC Toolkit and Roadmap

Don't get too excited; nothing in the RMC Toolkit really works. I just wanted to keep giving you guys code, and also backup my work. The toolkit needs to reach Alpha before progress on the LMU Parser can continue. Moreover, we need more community involvement, and the toolkit makes that possible.

Nearly Complete LMU Lexer

I've nearly doubled the lines of code in this release, to no visible difference. Internally, nearly all event commands lex now.

First Functional Lexer Release

The lexer now parses the entire test file, which I consider to be a minor but important achievement. Download it, and take a look at the sample output file. Then, compile it yourself and test it on your maps. Very few event commands have actually been implemented, so don't be surprised if it skips EC's or throws an exception.

LMU Lexer and some Docs

A somewhat flimsy lexer for LMU map files has been released. It's not much, but it shows that this project is more than hot air.
Documentation (the aforementioned "hot air") has been released. I dislike long lines of both people and text, so it's as brief as can be.
Forums will be updated shortly; we need to get designing!

The RMC Project begins

I will post as much documentation as I can this weekend. Until then:
1) Version 1.0 of the RM Collegium tool center is fully planned, and will be developed soon.
2) The LMU map parser is 50% done, but is running into a handful of obstacles. Outside help has been consulted, and the project should be back on track soon.

Contact me if you want to help out with this project, although at this point it's a tad too early to recruit too many developers.
