Just wanted to say thanks for the kickass software. I was quite worried about my Rio800/128M because riohome lists it as having entirely separate firmware, but rioutil works great!!

I had similar problems and tracked it down to some code that sanity checks the mp3 file. I think someone said this was fixed in the current CVS, so you could try that.

Hmm what would cause this:
rioutil -l
id | Title | Name mm:ss Size
---------------------------------------
Memory unit 0:
0 | host.mp3 | host.mp3 | 0:00 4017
the file plays fine in xmms/mpg123 and checks out with mp3check and mp3asm and mp3_check.
