Relative URLs

Unable to use a referential URL while using the HTML
editor. If I use a referential link (starts with "/"), the editor
changes it to an absolute link (starts with "http://"),
which is a problem. Referential links are a must for
those of use that develop across multiple domains.
If I use a referential link that doesn't start with either a "/"
or "http://" (for example just using "#" as the URL), the
editor automatically prepends the URL to "richedit.html".
The resulting link moves the user to the editor as
opposed to being linked back to the current page.

I concur. This issue makes the RTE difficult to use in my
website as I am always trying to make referece to relative
links.
