#2 User returned is "System"

I've successfully installed Retina Scan on several systems, but I'm puzzled why on one XP system the user is returned as System. As far as I can tell there are no differences in the configuration of the service. On other XP machines I've tried it works just fine. As a stop-gap I'm using another ident service, but I'd prefer to be able to use Retina Scan since it works on modern OSes.

How can I begin to track down why it's not work working? Any help is appreciated.
