#92 problem with itunes compatibility

I had an issue with 5.82 so I uninstalled down to 5.81 as suggested in the forums. I want iTunes to be able to sync my calendars but when it launches outlook to do so it gives me the error message

Error during startup: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

The forums suggested this was due to a bad xml file. However if I start outlook manually, all is good.

    I should say I that outlook launches, itunes will not sync because it has to be the one who launches outlook for it to work.

    very frustrating.

    Sorry for the late answer...but I still don't understand how you'd like to sync iTunes with Outlook...could you explain me your idea in details?
    5.83 is out, it should fix many problems of 5.81 and 5.82
