RADlab is a analog Monte Carlo based radiation transport simulation software. RADlab has an internal engine to transport gamma-ray, neutron, alpha and beta particles in given environments. In real world it would be extremely difficult (or even not be possible) to perform a gamma spectroscopy experiment in water. Using RADlab the feasibility of various experiments could be tested in vacuum, air or water.
Furthermore, RADlab can accommodate extra large, or extra small detectors(compared to commercially available detectors). It can also handle a non existing detector, which may be made of hazardous elements, which could not be used in real life.
