A new release of RackMonkey is now available for download. RackMonkey is a web-based tool for managing rack-mount equipment such as servers, switches, routers and storage devices. New features in RackMonkey 1.2.5 include UI improvements, Excel spreadsheet export, MySQL support (in addition to SQLite and Postgres), high quality printing and support for associating applications with devices. RackMonkey v1.2.5 Preview 3 Released

RackMonkey is a web-based tool for managing rack-mount equipment such as application servers, switches, video encoders, routers and storage devices.

The final preview release of RackMonkey v1.2.5 is now available to download. Changes include the ability to associate applications with multiple devices, configurable rack numbering direction and IE 8 support.

RackMonkey v1.2.4 Preview Release Available

You can now download the preview release of RackMonkey v1.2.4 from http://www.rackmonkey.org. This isn't the final release of v1.2.4, but gives you an opportunity to test out the new features in this release and provide feedback to the developers. RackMonkey v1.2.4 Adds Search

RackMonkey rack management software has added search to the current development version. You can now search for devices in your racks with a simple search at the top right of every page. I'm pleased to announce that Pierre Larsson (Sourceforge user: pjelar) has joined the RackMonkey project. Pierre is currently working on the Excel export functionality for RackMonkey v1.2.4.

Major Update - v1.2 alpha release near

A major update to v1.2 has been committed to the subversion repository. Devices are now working properly and a large number of bugs have been fixed. Other changes include: foreign key constraints fully implemented in SQLite, separation of CGI functionality into a separate module, improved install documentation and simplification of some API method names.

RackMonkey v1.2 in Subversion

I'm please to announce that RackMonkey v1.2 has been added to the SourceForge Subversion repository. v1.2 is not yet ready for end users, but bringing the code into subversion is an important step towards a final release. v1.1 of RackMonkey continues to be available through CVS.

Latest v1.2 News
