but
using notepad++ 5.6 unicode (and also in 5.5.x) and quicktext 0.2.1
when enabling quicktext, the multiline tab indentation is not working anymore
I have been experiencing the same frustrations. Ideally it would be nice to custom the QuickText trigger.
@raveren, followed your suggestion of changing the shortcut from TAB, but can't decide on a suitable alternative. Most other TAB + combos are used by Windows/NotePad++ ... any ideas which key shortcut to use?

You can use CTRL+TAB but you first need to turn it off. But I find using TAB is much faster.

This bug is really FATAL. Multiline tab is a very important function for me, and if QuickText cannot handle it properly, the only thing I can do is to assign another hotkey for QuickText, instead of replacing the tab key, which made it much more complicated to use QuickText.

Changing the shortcut from TAB fixes that, but it's still a bug.
