i had the samw problem. How do I know i have it and if not where do i get it. And Since Im using debian is there any chance that i can get it via apt-get?

No idea what this means. I do knwo Qt IS installed
MOC: Meta Object Compiler, its a Qt tool you get by installing the Qt developer package.

try installing qt-devel (apt-get install qt-devel)
