pyRisk / News: Recent posts

It has been decided that pyRisk will fall under the GNU GPLv3. A copy of the license is now included in the subversion trunk, and the appropriate changes have been made to the existing files.

After a few months of toying with the idea, development on pyRisk has begun. While there are a few other Risk-like strategy games out there, few are cross-platform and none support multiple custom AI engines playing in the same game. I am hoping that the core of the game will be done by 2008-12-14. While the game will not be playable, it will be a good broad launching place for the other sub-projects.
