I have the following ROX-Session setup:
$ ls -l Choices/ROX-Session/AutoStart
total 4
lrwxrwxrwx 1 anarcat anarcat 22 2005-03-08 19:50
20xautolock -> /usr/bin/X11/xautolock*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 anarcat anarcat 16 2005-05-08 22:48
90pypanel -> /usr/bin/pypanel*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 anarcat root 22 2005-03-08 19:50
92pypanel -> /usr/X11R6/bin/gkrellm*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 anarcat anarcat 17 2005-03-08 19:50
95workrave -> /usr/bin/workrave*
Sometimes, when pypanel is started from there, it
crashes with the following trace:

if clock.name != now:
AttributeError: 'Obj' object has no attribute 'name'
Disabling the clock (which now works!) works around the
problem.

Right now, I have completely disabled the autostart and am
starting pypanel manually from a shell when I log in. This
sometimes leads to a hard lockup of the display: nothing
updates anymore, keystrokes have no effect, and I can't even
switch VT (using ctrl-alt-Fn). Nothing short of a cold
reboot does the trick.
