Hello,

I've been playing around with PyID3 and think it's great.
My question is, where is the project headed. Is there
a TODO?

Yea, the lack of resonse led to me forking a while ago (over
    one year).
    Check out eyeD3 at:
    http://freshmeat.net/projects/eyed3/?topic_id=120%2C912

Not sure where tunetagger is at, but eyeD3 is mostly 2.3/2.4
compliant as well as 1.x of course.

The fork of pyid3 in tunetagger is fully 2.3 and 2.4
compliant. I have a test tag library of 240 mb (for just
the tags, no mp3) that I use in my testing.

Also eyeD3 is GPL, so you can't use it in non GPL'ed
projects. pyid3 is under the python license.

I've created a page for my fork of pyid3 at

    http://icepick.info/projects/pyid3/
