Currently, users can log their own defects from personal reviews into Process Dashboard against the appropriate task. Would like the ability for a team member to record inspection defects against a task owned by another team member.

For example, during the team inspection meeting, the recorder would select some option to open the inspection task assigned to the author of the work product. As the inspectors and author agree on defects, the recorder would log the defect aginst the author's task.

    This feature is not built-in to the dashboard, but it is extremely easy to accomplish without any special tools.

    As you mentioned, it is always necessary to have an inspection meeting where the results are discussed and people agree upon the final list of defects (what is a defect, what isn't, which are duplicates, etc). This meeting has a recorder who compiles the final list.

    Simply have the recorder enter the defects into a regular document like a spreadsheet. Then, the work product author can open their Defect Log and use the "Import from Clipboard" feature. This feature will allow you to copy-and-paste the defects from that spreadsheet into the defect log.
