I am running openSuSE-10.2 on a Pentium IV machine, and although the temperatures are reasonable and I chose the "acoustic" scheme, the fans always run at full speed. How can I adjust this?
Regards,
Patrick

Well, there is nothing that kpowersave can do about your fans afaict.
So i'd guess you should look for fan-controlling tools like lm-sensors for your motherboard. Often, cleaning the heatsink also does help.
