Totem power off plugin Wiki
What is this
This is plugin for Totem media player, which is used in GNOME. After plugin installation Totem gets new functionality - automatic suspend or power off the computer, when the end of the playlist is reached.
User has the possibility to choose between three actions, activated after the end of playback:
1) Do nothing
2) Power off
3) Suspend
History
First version of the plugin was designed as a therm work in CTU in 2012. This version was compatible with Totem 2.3, which was replaced by Totem 3 in most distributions in a short time.
Second version, designed in 2013, was programmed during one rainy weekend and has much better OOP design and an ability for language localization.
Compatibility
Plugin doesn't need any aditional libraries. The only thing that matters is the Totem version.
