#4 Problems linking to non-connected peers

Current solution when setting up a link from a drain to a source where the source process is not currently connected does not work well.

First it is not possible to do since the link will be created in the non-connected process. But to be notified about this takes very long time(2-3 minutes) and the notification is done as an exception! A better model would most likely be that the application is notified after a certain timeout if a setup of a link has not been successful yet.
