The [Open Programmer][1] is a free USB programmer, very cheap and works great.
I wish to be included it into the Piklab.
How can one contribute to reach that goal?

There is a quick guide to an [USB HID framework][2].
This is a quick example of how to implement an USB device using a PIC18 microcontroller, on both firmware and software side.

    Hi Paul,

sorry for the (very) late answer. I have usually only little time to work on Piklab nowadays. If you want let's see how far we can get.

It seems like the Open Programmer is a rather low level programmer so it's probably similar to what is done for the "direct programmer" in Piklab.

You should contact me by email: it will be easier to exchange this way.

    Regards,
    Nicolas
